[Koha] Debian/Ubuntu vs .tar enhancements

There are a lot of enhancements in the Debian/Ubuntu version of Koha which are not in the plain old .tar.gz build it yourself version, such as the 'site' and numerous commands. Are these going to be included in future versions of the .tar.gz releases? I was going to answer Jesse Lamberton's
