In our library, we receive a lot of donated books. To better track where they

started using the Acquisition portion of Koha. Apparently we are doing
something wrong because we cannot seem to
receive the books after they have been put into an order.

We don't put on orders for donated items. W
The question might have been more specifically about tracking donors. We
put them directly into 952$e (which we've re-labeled as 'Source - donor')
and have an authorized value list of donors. As a charity (we have perhaps
98% of our holdings from donors) so this also allows us to produce
