hie,
items.cn_sort calculation depends on items.cn_source value, if no value,
the default classification source is used (defined in syspref
"DefaultClassificationSource").

No, the LOST, WITHDRAWN, DAMAGED, RESTRICTED statuses are used in
display and circulation.
They must be used to avoid an item loan.
The NOT_LOAN status must only be used to define :
- acquisition statuses (on order, ...) with values < 0
- 0 means for loan
- available for reference with values
We have the default classification source set to Library of Congress. The
problem appears to be two different encoding methods.

l looked at bug 11940. Our records aren't usually very large, and my first
attempt was for a subset of records that do not have any items attached.
The problem reported in 11940 seems to be something that happens when
there are too many items.

Dear All
Awhile back I posted that I had inadvertently done some things in root that
I should not have done. Specifically, creating a public list that I am now
unable to edit or delete. See original thread

Elaine,
what's the value of your syspref item-level_itypes?
(Admin > System preferences > Cataloguing)
If it's set to 'specific item' then you won't get any results from the
export unless there is a item on the bibliographic records.
If you set it to 'biblio record' then you can export records wit

Amy,
It seems that the borrowernumer you are trying to use is wrong.
I created a list, then set its owner to NULL,
Next if I try to update the table to some nonexistent
borrowernumber, I got the same message than you
If I do the update to a valid borrowernumber, it's done
without problem

Thank you again Bernardo. It is currently set to specific item. That
explains at least some of the strange behaviour. I'll change it and test
it tomorrow but I think this may solve the problem.

Hi folks!
I'm hoping someone can help me with an error I'm getting which is preventing me
from amending existing catalogue records or creating new catalogue records.
Whenever I try to save a record, I receive the following error:
