Hi,
My current employer is running on koha 3.00 on a linux server and wanted me
to update it but I have found conflicting information; the 1st being there
are no updates for koha 3.00 and the next being some linux commands i found
to update koha 3.00 to 3.80.
How should i proceed?
Thanks

Short answer - use nullmailer on your koha box to relay the mail

If you search for "install koha" on Google you're pointed to the official
instructions for doing it.
I'd recommend that you pick this one from the list:

Hi everyone,
Is there a way to change the fields that display in the left-hand sidebar
(under a patron's picture) during circulation? I would like to have sort1
and sort2 show up there, but my feeble attempts at adding scripts to
intranetuserjs have all failed. (I've successfully modified other pa

I lied - I can't fix it because it makes no sense, the code is right.
So I submitted a bug:

Not sure how to make them show up over there, but what I usually
recommend is that people use the patron attributes instead if they

show there.

How can I configure Koha to send emails to patrons?
Specifically, I want to specify which emails (checkout, overdue, etc) get
sent.
And if a patron doesn't want to receive emails, I want to, as the librarian,
disable sending of email to that person.
Thanks.

Install postfix (sudo apt-get install postfix). It'll ask you some
questions, one of which is about a smarthost (or a relayhost.) Give it
the address of your mail server.

Hi All,
I want to customize my koha opac search, we are able to search by
Author,Title, Serial Number etc.
I also want the search by *Publication year* to be added in the drop down

Can you suggest how to do this search by Publication year.
Thanks in advance.
