I have been able to resolve the problem of adding field 949.
The second problem is activating sub-field for volume in item.
What is the sub-field for volume and how do i get it activated in item?
Thank you.

Greetings,
Questions:
1. Is it possible to install Koha 3.12 or 3.14 on CentOS 5.x?
No, it is not easily possible.

Are you asking - where do you put this information in the item record (Koha

We don't use copy numbers in our library, but if we did, I'd use 952
subfield h for the volume number and 952 subfield t for the copy

When we search for items, we often search for the bar code, but then some
books show up that get matched on the biblio record, which is confusing. Is

Hi, Tim--
To search by barcode, have you tried the prefix "bc," e.g.:
bc=123456
or:
bc:123456
(I prefer using the colon rather than the equals sign because it's faster
to type, and it also works!)
There are other helpful search prefixes in this guide (I use it all the
time):
