Maybe what we need to do is to add the requisite fields into the Default framework. It seems to have nearly every possible MARC field already, what's a few more? I had to add some fields into the RDA framework to get it to work for us (we use some of the more archival fields among other things). S

In our fast add framework we have added a default value to the 952 tag subfield 3 "Materials specified and bound" which shows up on checkin. It alerts staff that this is a Fast add and needs to be looked at by someone for evaluation. We also have a default public note the says it is a fast add
