You could try switching on the mysql log, and try a delete then check

Oh and I forgot to mention,
It would need to be happening in master, 3.8.x, 3.10.x or 3.12.x for
it to be fixed. IE if it only occurs in your old install (3.2.3 is i
think nearly 3 years old now). Then the only answer will be upgrade.
If it's an error in current Koha then it will get fixed.
