You can set the "expandedSearchOption" system preference to "show" and
it will default to the "more options" view.

Koha won't do this for you automatically, although it seems like it
would be a fairly simple enhancement. I think the important question
is: What can your expired patrons do tha

it should be possible to get you a report with borrower information and the
total of the charges. What I am not sure about how to do it is the description
of all charges grouped by the date of the first charge. I am not sure I
understand well what you want to do here.
