It seems the next version of Piwik, due out in the next few days, will feature
a cookie-free option to satisfy the UK's new "cookie law."
Piwik does offer an option, in its privacy settings, to anon

Hello,
Since i've upgraded for koha 3.8, i can't access on my opac.
I think my virtualhost is good (i join it in attached file) but maybe
there's something wrong i've not seen.
I've the same url with two differents ports. For the intranet, it's ok
but for the opac, it's the problem.

Hi Lori,
We tuck the year of graduation into the sort2 field and the current classroom
teacher into the sort1 field. Our elementary librarians like having the school
teacher in there because the kiddies tend to come to the library by class. A
"student" template for patron records would be nic
Hi,
For the connection with an ldap, koha need a "branchcode". All the
others fields are ok for me except "branchcode".
I don't find "branchcode" or equivalent in my ldap.
Could someone explain to me what does it means branchcode?
best regards

Hi,
If you don't have the branchcode in your ldap directory you can set a
default in your koha-conf.xml, for example
MAIN_LIBRARY
where MAIN_LIBRARY is a valid library code in Koha.
All borrowers will then be added with this default value.

We have a Boopsie app also. I don't know how to send you the link to it,
but it is in the iTunes app store, under Arcadia University.

A couple of steps are involved:
1) Create an Anonymous patron
- Create some patron account to which the history values will be
set. You will want to make a note of the borrower number for this patron.
2) Set the Anonymous Patron in the OPAC system preferences
- Set this to be the borrower
We use Boopsie (optimum package) and Koha in Middletown, NJ, USA.
Arcadia University, PA and Los Gatos Public Library, CA also both are
Koha and Boopsie libraries.

Samuel,
The branchcode allows you to assign patrons coming in from your ldap config to
a certain branch.
For example if you have multiple libraries and multiple ldap configurations you
could assign people from one ldap tree to a certain branch and people from a
different ldap tree to a diffe

I have someone asking if it's possible to do something like:
week1 -> $1
week2 -> $3
week3 -> $5
i.e. the first fine is $1, and the increment is $2 every 7 days. Is this
possible? I can't see an obvious way to do it in the circ rules.
