Dear Group Members Hello,
I am facing problem in z39.50 search through KOHA. I added three z39.50
search targets including Library of Congress.
All three servers worked fine in the beginning but after few days no server
is in working condition and all show same error:

Hi!
Most of our books are Danish and i have a handful of very good
z39.50-servers, where I can find them for cataloguing.
However, in the library we also have a few German and English books.
It is mainly children's books. I know:
http://irspy.indexdata.
At our school, I've set the category code of each patron type to the year of
their graduation and the category name to the name of the year they are in.
For example, Year 11 (the year of graduation here) has a category code of
'2012' and and description of 'Year 11'. At the beginning of the ye
Chris,
I'll admit that I don't really understand the procedure for signing off
and testing for new features. The one we are interested in is
"Analytics records support"

which has the Patch status of "Signed off" and was modified on

There are a few steps before a patch can make it into a release. We
should do a Schoolhouse Rock about it.
1. A patch is submitted.
2. Someone tests the patch. If it works, the person signs o
Linda,
The content for 5528 was submitted and signed off before the feature freeze,
so it is one of the candidate developments for 3.6. Like every development,
it must undergo QA, which is my job. I'll be looking at it very soon, and
hopefully it will pass. If it does not, I'll be explicit abo
Hi Marcus,
We've got a number of schools in our shared Koha system. We started using
Koha before extended patron attributes were available, so we steered our
libraries to using the sort 1 and sort 2 fields of the patron record. We
actually format and load the patron records on behalf of our libr
In the Koha 3.4 documentation, there is mention of a Circulation option:
1.5.1.6. ceilingDueDate
But I don't actually see that in our installation of Koha 3.4.5. Did I
miss something on install? We think this would actually be a useful
setting here.
Thanks,
Tom

Oops, I think that was moved to the circulation matrix in 3.4 and I forgot
to remove it from the manual. Can someone on 3.4 please confirm for me so I
can update the manual.
Tom go to Admin > Circulation & Fine Rules and you'll see the Hard Due Date
column. http://manual.koha-community.org/3.4/en

Hi Again Marcus,
I forgot to address the piece about deleting the student records in batches.
That's an issue that makes the staff at our school libraries twitch since
they feel a strong need to make the records for graduated students go away
as soon as possible. We sponsored development to allow
Tom,
Remember to reply to all so the list can help.
I've never seen that preference. Are you on an official Koha release?

Nicole,
Another thing I noticed. In
1.13.1.6. QueryRemoveStopwords
it looks like the functionality in the current version has changed
slightly from what you have in the docs.

Tom,
There is a category for documentation bugs in bugzilla:
http://bugs.koha-community.org if you'd like to remove the problems as you
find them.
I also accept any and all help in updating the manual :) There isn't much on
the wiki about that but there is a page:

Hi,
I am using koha to print labels with barcodes for books, however am
wondering if it is possible to increase the height of the barcodes
generated without increasing the width.
In the last version we were working with these barcodes had a height of
around 10mm for us, however this has now
