Thank you Beda for your efforts. It works fine as well as mentioned in the

Daniel,
Like I said you're asking me to teach you what it took me years (and
lots of money) to learn ... how to catalog. I can't answer that
question in an email, it requires several books. So you can read
through the LOC tutorials and see if that helps, if not I recommend
you just turn off that

Hi there
This is my first post to this list. I am the responsible for IT systems in a

I set up Koha for the first time last summer - it is version 3.00.06.008
running on Ubuntu 10.04. It has been in use by the monastic community
without any real proble

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

All,
Can someone suggest how to best make opac-reserve.pl default to "Request
Specific"?
We are on 3.4.1 and using the patch for bug 6347.
Thanks!

You can play with it here:

Linda,
If there's no system preference for that, try adding this jQuery code to
your opacuserjs:
$('.place_on_type.selectany').attr('checked', false);
$('.place_on_type.selectspecific').attr('checked', true);

Thank you, Daniel!
What worked for me was:
$('.selectany').attr('checked', false);
$('.selectspecific').attr('checked', true);
I really appreciate your help. I just couldn't figure it out until you
suggested the method.
Thanks again,
