When adding a new biblio, starting from the import or the duplication of an
existing one, Koha uses the previous Date entered on file (008 1-5).
I didn't find a bug or enhancement about this. In my opinion, the date must be
set to today.
I'd like to ear more opinions.
Thanks. Stefano

Hi All,

Development by ByWater. The hourly loan portion, at least (which, selfishly,
is the only part of reserves I'm really wanting right now).

Well if ByWater says they're working on it then we know we'll get it
when it's done.

Margo and Owen,
Yes, ByWater is working on hourly loans (I think with Catalyst - but I
might be mixing up developments), but for most that is not enough for
course reserves, so that's why I said what I said :)
As for date, that's Ian's arena so he'll have to say where the development is.

I don't know about gremlins, but I know where the data is stored.

Yes, ByWater has received some funding to make Hourly Loans happen, and
we're working with Catalyst to get it done. The goal is to get it working
as soon as possible, but as stated, it's a big development, and will require
lots of testing and integration.

All,
On our Koha version 3.02.02.003, when we do an advanced "phrase" search

normal view it is going to the MARC view. Has anyone else noticed this
behavior?
Thanks.

That was the hint I needed. While zebrasrv was running, checking the
zebrasrv logs I discovered:
zebra_lock_create fail fname=/var/lock/koha/zebradb/biblios/shadow..LCK
[Permission denied]
Removing those files then restarting koha-zebra-daemon got the search
working again.
Thanks!

Yes, you should have zebra properly configured and running. See the

there is an FAQ on the website regarding searching:
