Good,
I managed to get control on my Koha :-)
Thanks a lot to all :-)
I still have the issue of Koha not correctly updating the DB when a new
user from AD is successfully authenticated but now I have less pressure and
I can investigate on it.
Thanks again,
Alex

Yep, you are accessing the OPAC: that is the public interface through
which users access the catalogue.
What you need to find is the staff client. Sometimes it gets put at
yourdomain:8080 , otherwise check you apache sites-enabled.
I hope you find it.

Hi Bob,
when I login with such username and password I land on /cgi-bin/koha/
opac-user.pl
I then typed manually the URL /cgi-bin/koha/mainpage.pl but I get the HTTP
error 404.
It's weird, I'll check why it doesn't find that page.
Thanks,
Alex

You are logging in to the staff client, not to the OPAC? Having logged
in, you should see a menu in two columns: Patrons is the second option
in the left hand column, Administration is the fourth option in the
right hand column. Is that what you are seeing?

Thanks Robin for your very fast reply,
indeed I can login with such username.
However it seems that such user i's treated like a normal user because I
don't see any admin interface where to add users/patron and other admin
tasks.
But I moved a bit forward and I'll see what I can do.

Just to answer this because I'm about to leave: you can log in to the
admin interface using the mysql username and password. This should allow
