already replied a little earlier: you need to run the script as the koha
user, never root. Use koha-shell to switch to the right user for your
instance.

all jobs should always be run as your koha user. You can use 'sudo
koha-shell instance' to switch to that user and then try to run the job
again.

Hi,
the error you posted looks like it's from the overdues.pl script. It
complains about a missing letter ODUE. So you might want to check your
notices and overdue notice triggers. But this won't affect fine calculation.
Fines are calculated independently of the letters via the fines.pl cronjob.
