Dear All
Please guide me about how to change the scrolling list of new arrivals (new

Hi Sambhunath,
I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago. Here is the answer I
received from Jonathan Druart:
It does not depend on the Koha version, but the MySQL/MariaDB version,

Hi,
in addition to your Apache settings, you will want to configure the
OpacBaseURL and StaffClientBaseURL system preferences in your Koha
installation. The first is used to create the links from staff client
detail page to the OPAC, but they are also used in other places.
Hope this helps,
Katr
Hi,
you need to check the version of your DBMS here:
Please check here:
https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/DBMS_auto_increment_fix#Database_Versions_Affected
Any Koha version after 17.05.02 has all the fixes we could do, but the
problem stems from the DBMS.
Hope this helps,
Katrin
On 09.0
It's not a Koha thing it's a DB thing. So it depends on what version of mysql
or mariadb you are running.
If it is 5.7 or earlier then yes, you need it. If it is later then no it is

Dear friends,
*Is DBMS auto increment fix required for Koha 18.11.05 (Current version)?
Yes/No*
In Koha wiki site, it shows only for Koha 16.05, 16.11, and 17.05. There is
nothing written for Koha 18.05 and Koha 18.11.

I thought that was all that was needed, but it's been so long since I

send your replies to the group so people will know you haven't found
your answer. (I sent this to you and the list)

We're looking at running our opac at catalog.york.edu and our intranet at
circulation.york.edu. Both addresses will resolve to the same server when
we go live, and I already have the Apache virtual host configuration
working internally. I even have http => https redirection working.

The right syntax is
$ koha-zebra --start koha_library
$ koha-zebra --restart koha_library
$ koha-zebra --status koha_library
Always try the --help option, as it should explain how to use the script.
Also
$ man koha-zebra
Kind regards

Hi Joel
Almost all marc fields info was moved to biblio_metadata table.
You should be able to find your OCLC data there. Note that you still need
to parse info since data is "xml-encoded"

Using the schema.koha-community.org site, I can see back in 16.05 the
biblioitems table had fields for both *marc *and *marcxml *data. In 16.11
the *marc* field was removed, and only *marcxml *remained. In 17.05 and

Did these fields move somewhere else, or were they ju
No output from a linux command means: everything is ok!
Did you try a full reindexation to fix the search problem?
