Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your help.
I've installed Debian Squeeze as per Arslan's recommendation.
Unfortunately as part of the installation process, the Windows installation
was wiped. This doesn't worry me, except that now the CD ROM drive does
not read in Linux, which means that I can't install a

The wiki used to relay through my personal linode (whichs runs
bugs.koha-community.org) but as you can see something/one is trying to spam
quite heavily.
What they are doing is entering email addresses that aren't their own so
innocent people get mail, they then mark as spam and bugs.koha-commun
Hi, Lori,
We had a similar barcode problem. Our library has two different barcode
patterns, and we needed a way to canonicalize them for Koha.
Our solution was to buy a new optical scanner that was programmable. For under
US$200 we purchased a Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner. It supports a progr
Thanks All. This is useful. I'll forward all the suggestions on to the
library that had these questions! Much appreciated.

Greetings,
I need some help with a problem I've encountered in the circulation rules.
About six months ago I set a global due date for May 17, the end of the
semester. Since then, we've updated Koha a couple times, and I can no longer
find the page where I set the global due date. (From my reading
Looks very much like the servers stopped mailing out to me..
To note, I run a number of mediawiki sites, and have never had an issue
with their mails being sent to spam in gmail or otherwise.. It's probably
more of a server setup error at the mediawiki end. Might be worth someone

Not sure if you're trolling but I'll assume not. Yahoo and AOL are
about the only spam filters
I was trying to edit the wiki and had the same problem, no confimration email.
I tried, yahoo and gmail as well. Nothing in my work outlook spam filters.

Hello,
It's the first time i configure a connection between koha and a ldap.

Hello David,
Thank you for sharing your case with us in regard to Koha wiki page
problem. A friend of mine from Algeria, Kouider Bounama, is also facing the
same issue: his email is yet to be confirmed. I though by being able to
login I should be able to submit koha library records in our region.

I also had a partner report a similar problem. I think I emailed
about it (or put it in IRC) a while back.

Hi Massoud.
I'm having a similar problem editing the wiki as well.
I've registered, but have yet to receive a confirmation email (which is
required before you can edit a page).
There also seems to be a lot of 'spammy' new user account registrations on
the "Recent changes' page as well.
