In case anybody is interested I managed to use the QT-Creator IDE to build Kicad on Windows. I documented the procedure here https://wordpress.com/post/documenteddesigns.com/483. But for posterity (and to make it easier to find) I’ve included it below. Note that this only seems to work with the Msy
