No, Python is already on the OS, wxPython will be build from sources directly from Cmake. After that adding features will be easy, and in the meanwhile we will have a common bases on which we can do support on. I'm studing the "packaging" at the moment and some modifies to do, then i'll add patches

Sorry, I forgot to reply to all Miguel, As you can see i've committed the part to make possibile the linking of Kicad also with dynamic linking and making binaries portable (scripts/osx_fixbundle.sh ) I'm in those days working on wxPython, i'm confident to release a similar mechanism for Python
