I don't think it's developer-unfriendly. OpenGL's single threaded
execution model is nowhere near today's graphics hardware. I think this
is the reason. OpenGL is mostly old CAD software, which Apple do
Wxwidgets uses things deprecated five+ years ago already... I'm not
particularly worried. :)
