That sounds good to me. There is also that MacOS security feature that turns /Applications/... paths into some obfuscated virtual paths (as seen by the app, even though those dirs don't exist) and that may spook an uninformed average user. Hi Adam, Please note that current paths are actually correct for previous versions of MacOS. I'm not sure exactly when the change happened but the paths you are suggesting are valid for latest versions of MacOS and kicad.
