It's official. I just uploaded the stable release 4.0.3 archive to
launchpad and merged the website blog post pull request. Let me know if

Agreed. Given the nature of this issue it's not going to be fixed for
quite some time I think. It's silly to hold back the release for a very
long time because of it.

Considering that there are no solution choosen for this issue nor even
a patch, I don't think we should block the 4.0.3 release becasue of
this issue. Changes to DRC should be taken with care, and I would
rather like a potential fix to be tested a bit more than is possible
in a few days timeframe.
