Iirc, what I wanted to do was to assign specific fan ip addresses to lxd
containers based on container name.
i.e. by setting dhcp-host=container,ip_addr
What I did in the end was just that. Disabled dhcp and setup my own
instance of dnsmasq.

There were absolutely no changes that would cause this in 3.10.0-4
compared to -3 (only 3 patches, one for hyperv, one to enable dynamic
debugging, and one adding a pci id for a realtek sd card reader..). Can
you attach /var/log/kern.log and /var/log/kern.log.1 that will have
historical dmesg info
So its pretty clear i915 not loading is the problem from that, if you
sudo upgrade-initramfs -u -k 3.10.0-3-generic does it break the -3
kernel too? 3.11 allows invalid module parameters instead of preventing
the module from loading so whatever is broken here will be "fixed" soon
when saucy is upda

I can confirm that the kernel currently in "saucy-proposed" resolves this issue
on my UX31A (Asus Zenbook Prime). The output of "uname -a" reads:

Well last I checked, even mainline v3.9.x one needs to explicitly
cpufreq on the omap4460 to even boot to console prompt. Haven't
personally tried v3.10/v3.11/v3.12 as i've been busy with other projects
and that panda es just keeps running on v3.9.x. Long term, remember

I can confirm that ubuntu saucy (13.10) won't boot on my Asus Zenbook
Prime with the stock kernel but if I install the kernel from comment #72
then everything works.
Do I understand correctly that now I mustn't allow ubuntu to install
