Typical Current Idle AND disabling global c-states didn't help.

I see elan0634 in acpidump, but elan_i2c or i2c_hid don't show up in lsmod.

Alright, I think I'm starting to narrow down the issue. I was able to
use apt-get and install kernels up to linux-image-4.4.0-112-generic.
I'm even able to install the latest, if I uninstall package 'linux-
generic' and manually install linux-image-4.4.0-116-generic, e.g.,

how long will it take the Ubuntu team to upgrade to the latest firmware?
I experience deadlocks when I do any Bluetooth related action. It even freezes
system shutdowns!

I've been following this bugreport for the past 6 months since I have the same
problem on a backup server.
Running the latest Debian on a Hyper-V host. During the night there are several
rsync backups going on. The issue only happens maybe once every 3 or 4 weeks

FYI suspend/resume is now working (via the suspend option in the power
menu) with the latest update 3.13.0-29-generic, although there is a

I no longer face this issue. Did a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04. Did
