Unfortunately the 3.14-rc* kernels cannot be booted on the ACER - as
already mentioned earliere - so the second kernel bisecting lead at
least to the same result (q.e.d.). What can I do next?

I pulled today's commits from
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git which
build as kernel 3.18.0 showing still the same issue.
Additionaly I took the opportunity to upgrade my ACER B115's BIOS from V1.22 to
V1.26. Luckily I had to reset my personal settings back and wit
This is my bisecting result but actually some v3.14 commits I had to
skip since I could not start them:
There are only 'skip'ped commits left to test.
The first bad commit could be any of:
4ac4c5fad8a320f75cb84543403fb8bae5ad2254
5e7f18334f9980943365c07502630b5e3223839c
4dde507fc1984435f28862ddd1b
I tested the 3.18-rc5 already but the problem still exists there.
So I started again to bisect again and now I am bisecting between v3.14 (good)
and v3.15-rc1 (bad). Hope that this will give a better result and I do not have
to skip too many commits.
