In my case (Ubuntu 18.04.2) my machine boot normally, suspend and
restore normally if the suspension is only for less than two hours
roughly. if the restore is tried later, the machine resume but no
keyboard active, only mouse/touchpad (Dell Inspiron 13 5000, i7 8550u)

mine is with Intel Core i7 6th gen CPU model (Skylake) sound works in
this model without any chance with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
