after many hours of struggling, I finally managed to update bios.
$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

This did not change anything. I still need to give kernel options stated
in first message to get mouse working, and with newer kernels tha
Mine does not work with just that. But I came up with a workaround:
I found out, that this fixes mouse after suspend:
rmmod psmouse
modprobe mouse
So I put a script to /etc/pm/sleep.d/ , which executes those commands.
Now after suspend mouse works with latest 13.04 kernel, same as with
Mint 15 in
I tested the following releases:
10.10: does not start, complains about efi_ something.
11.04: after selecting "try without installing", just freezes, black screen.
11.10: starts up. mouse does not work.
I did not try releases prior to 10.10, since this is new laptop, and
probably those don't wor
Results with 3.13.0-031300rc2-generic :
mouse does not work. I didn't see, if it does with kernel parameters mentioned
in first post. I suppose it does.

this bug has been since 12.04. The problem is, trackpad is not working
at all with clean install (at least in 12.04, 13.04, 13.10).

This whole thing got a lot worse and problematic, because I was running
setup where upgrades did not update grub at all (so I was still running
kernel 3.5.x , which works fine. After I noticed that I had upgraded my
system to 13.10, but running kernel was still 3.5, I did a pure install
and after t
I tried with the latest upstream kernel vmlinuz-3.12.0-031200rc6-generic

Does not work, and as described in previous post, trackpad does not work after
suspend anymore. So at the moment only working kernel is:
