I experienced the same issue on my ThinkPad T450s running Kubuntu 18.04 (two-finger scrolling stops working after opening the lid and resuming). Adding kernel parameter "psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=0" as described above solved the issue for me (a big THANK YOU!). -- You received this bug notific

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I'm getting: [ 32.468026] watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#5 stuck for 23s! [nvidia-smi:594] on Kubuntu 17.04 (kernel 4.13.3-041303-generic, i7-4790, GTX 1070, Nvidia 384.69). My desktop still works fine, I do not experience any crashes or freezes, but sh

In reply to Tim Chen (#27): I have installed the bluez4-ssp as instructed. It works, however, there is some weirdness. When I "Set up new device" and then select the K810 keyboard in the list and press the "Continue" button, it briefly shows one 6 digit PIN number before showing the second one. W

This is a well known issue with Intel WiFi adapters (on both Linux and Windows). The only reliable "workaround" I've found is to disable 802.11n: 1. Open terminal. 2. sudo vi /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi-disable11n.conf 3. Add this line: options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1 4. Save and restart. I've had thi

I have just performed a clean install of Ubuntu 14.10 on a Samsung Chronus 7 (700Z7C-S02UK), and this problem returned. This time, adding "acpi=noirq" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT did not solve the issue (as it did with Ubuntu 14.04). Instead, as mentioned in posts above, disabling GPE13 works. I

I have a P65_P67RGRERA with an nVidia GTX 970m. I too have "kind of" got it working by: 1. Installing the 4.6 kernel. 2. Installing the proprietary nVidia 364 driver. 3. sudo prime-select intel 4. Reboot, go in to the BIOS, and select "MSHYBRID" for the Graphics option. 5. Save BIOS changes and ex
