X220 i7. I experienced the suspend problems first with 12.04, and
recently tried the 14.04 Live CD, and experienced them there as well.
I appear to have better luck with a HDD than an SDD in it, but that may

Using "sudo pm-suspend", the first cycle completes normally.

"(recovery mode)" boot and then resuming a normal boot from there. When

Precise, I left the system running for a couple hours and did different
tasks to load the system (that's the best method I have for reproducing

which remove drivers for sleep. It there are scripts in

I can run apport-collect, but it won't go through the proxy (I already
tried http_proxy and https_proxy). Is there a way of doing this offline

Well, I have the same problem as the original post except I am running,
but I can't get rid of the trying to install loop. It fails to reinstall
when updating other packages.

For those that need to boot and the other methods aren't working, I was
able to boot by adding the following to the grub command line:

```

For clarity, I am able to use the touchpad. Honestly, I'm going to be

I have the same problem on Hirsute Hippo. I am on a Lenovo Yoga 730,
connecting to a Coms projector from usb-c through a lenovo usb-c to hdmi
adapter that was included with the laptop.
I have had no trouble before connecting from the same laptop through the
included usb-c to VGA adapter.

I was able to boot lunar even though this package installation failed,
because there was still a 5.xy kernel left from kinetic, which booted
just fine. Removing the evdi dkms and `apt upgrade` finished the
installation of this package.

tools/power/cpupower: Fix Pstate frequency reporting on AMD Fam
For GPU+OpenCL through ROCm. That particular machine only uses it for
the graphics driver, but others will get the error when they get the
latest kernel on 24.04.1 LTS.
I don't know if mixing Ubuntu amdgpu with ROCm libraries from amdgpu-
install script will work. Is there another way?
