I'm running the 3.13.0-30-55 kernel on a 1525 laptop and unfortunately this
problem still exists.
Suspend always works, resume works maybe 80% of the time. It's the wife's
laptop so it's high visibility. ;-)

Focaltech driver installed in 3.17.2. I've found this really stable, and
it (looks) like nvidia 340 works perfectly with it.
And I can suspend and resume, no problems.

I am experiencing the same problem on a Dell Inspiron 6400 with an Intel
GM945 display controller. Symptoms occur frequently when using
chromium-browser. Forcing AccelMethod to "UXA" resolved the symptoms.
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04, kernel 3.13.0-32-generic, and xserver-xorg-
video-intel version 2:2

what would this script be called or is it appended to one of these files?

Turns out this "I support Queued TRIM!" issue is a year old and affected the
entire previous generation too:

I still have the same issue - ethernet works if I fall back to

I have tried 3.19.0-20.20 and I have the same issue.
Here is uname-a and partial ifconfig with 3.19.0-20.20

I was contacted by an HP case manager by phone. He told me that HP does
not supply drivers. The same problem we are having with the HP Spectre
is also happening with other laptops that contain the Intel Broadwell-U
audio controller. This is a problem that Intel is equipped to address.

MS Sculpt Touch Mouse needs to be re-paired
Does this help? Note it is the same mouse that originally gave problems
when this bug first appeared. It is also appearing twice in the list of
devices (there is only one).

As requested, I have now set package to "linux" (ie kernel) due to the
point in the boot sequence at which the issue occurs. I'm far from
qualified to speculate but I am reasonably sure that this is not a
kernel issue but a boot script dependency issue, which was why I didn't
specify a package init

Of these two, #1 is the easiest and makes the most sense. Either way,
there's a problem in the firmware and it needs a fix.

I have reached out to Samsung again to hopefully get this falsely
advertised feature fixed at the firmware level, since the firmware is at
fault for advertising FPDMA QUEUED support (which is what QUEUED TRIM
uses), even though it doesn't support it at all.
