Didn't work in my AB350 Gaming 3 with Ubuntu 16.04, I get a lot of
"unexpected irq trap at vector 07" without acpi=off before system
freezes.
I've also tried other kernels, from 4.8 to 4.10, to no avail.

It worked on my AB350 Gaming 3. The kernel was installed, but it wasn't
running. I had to manually edit the loader. No problems so far.
