Sorry for the wait, had some trouble building the kernel.
After building the kernel with the patch to revert
83bcf3e52e9cfc727df33f1055ef0618c91719d0, I can confirm that my speaker
mute key works properly.
Only other changes made were to replace my modules with dkms versions.

The issue is with the speaker mute key, by the way. Mic mute works fine and
always has (for some reason, probably not sent by the keyboard and only by wmi).
I will see about reporting this to plasma's bug tracker. Thank you for your help

The issue does not happen on GNOME but libinput still shows the KEY_MUTE
being sent from both devices. Currently working on dynamic debug
