I have now added log files, even few times. And you should note that

I have now tried that noticed that is hard to crash for demostrating, it will
only crash if you left computer alone. Also note that display problem is still

Still affect other kernels, so it also affects other kernels. A bit hard
to check, I need to install new kernel and so on. Still I am gratefull
from hint to solve with Bios update, it helped on some other problems.

AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version
k3.13.0-49-generic.
I cannot say what is the last working version, but
3.2.0-x tree has not that bug.
3.2.0-80 kernel is now in use.
And now I am using DVI not VGA. Maybe you wish me to check if it works
better with VGA?

some extension from X server in kernel. And I also think that those
changes broke some code in at least some BSB variants. Or rather make
some problems. And BSB folk started to backport something from Linux in

I have same issue. Ubuntu 16.04 64bit.
Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 1Gbps
Controller is integrated PCI-e on morherboard P5QL Pro.
Throughput is about 2Mbps.
I have tested also with 100Mbps USB network adapter, 3Com 100Mbps, different
cable, all other work fine, throughput ~10Mbps.

Seems that more info is really needed. Sorry for that, but I feel not I
am scared from git and bisect. I could test some kernel versions, but it
feels pain to set up test.
