An update. After some digging the conclusion I is that the problem in
my case is not linux but might be the Asus BIOS. Even just enetering the
BIOS the CPU temperature is rising up to 70-80 degrees. I'v e also
upgraded the BIOS, but without significant improvements.

install ubuntu from another one.
When i move back my sdd to the lenovo laptop it keeps saying: ubuntu boot
failed. In boot options i have the voice "ubuntu" in first place, so i don't

i also tried to upgrade kernel with ukuu, after the reboot on the
working computer ukuu says 4.14.9 is running. Moving ssd back to lenovo

I tried boot into linux via netboot but secure boot forbids me from install
anything. I can boot into grub but "ls -l" command to get UUID doesn't work for
the same reason.
Can you tell us how to boot into linux to get UUID with secure boot

I tested Ubuntu 24.04.
The trackpad doesn't work during the Ubuntu 24.04 liveUSB setup, BUT it works
once the proper OS is installed!
Plus I see the battery indicator top-right.
The speakers are not actually working but I was aware about this issue.
The same sound issue is present event in Debi

So using the same Ubuntu 24.04 live image from last week, I confirm that:
- The live setup is using 6.8.0-41-generic and I can't neither use the
