I believe kernel linux-image-4.15.0-73-generic (currently in proposed)
will move to 'main' on January 5, 2020.
For enabling proposed (suggested in comment #13 and others in the bug
@albertpool - it only impacts (as reported) 16.04 LTS WHEN using the
18.04/HWE kernel. To my knowledge there are no reports of it impacting
xenial users using 16.04's 4.4 kernel.

Ok, I think that the truncated log issue with kernel version 5.0.0-37 is
a bug in tpm1_bios_measurements_next() which is fixed by
https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/1031236/, although I've not
verified that this is the case.
