Hi, can someone please clarify when this fix is planned to go out in a
Noble kernel?
I just received 6.8.0-49-generic and rebooted and the problem does _not_
seem to be fixed, and I'm really struggling to confirm the workflow &
intended patches on Launchpad. But it seems that my ZFS kernel module
The only problem seems to be the higher load. But you can disable it
and enable a timer instead if you want.
The fix does not seem to have been included in 6.8.0-52-generic.

Hi, regarding the above noble-proposed message, I installed zfsutils-
linux 2.2.2-0ubuntu9.2 and the issue is not fixed. I guess I also need
something else, such as a proposed kernel update? I am on
6.8.0-54-generic (6.8.0-54.56) now, what version would I need?

which did bring in some other packages, but am I right that I also need

Yep! With a simple install of zfs-dkms/noble-proposed and reboot I got
9.2:
version:2.2.2-0ubuntu9.2
and my load average is now under 2 (I have 2 autotrims enabled):

It was a 'live' QA-test (19.04 daily) so I cannot add information on that run.

My comment #3 is in error, on the QA-test I wrote
"...suspended system, waited, woke with power button, screensaver was
visible which I could wake with wacom pen & streaming news continued
(with sound)."
I misread this report which is not about wake-from-suspend; thus comment #3 is
invalid.
