I've installed python 3.4.3 (with is defaulting for python3) on Trusty. Running
a test IP injection did work with the script from comment #6 and the netmask
did change to the new value that was specified.
However, I don't see it in the interfaces config file. Is th

Testing has been switched to 15.10, which running with upstream does no longer
have the 1GB crashkernel requirement.
It works with the default 384M ( -:128M).

I have a Lenovo S540 with a Radeon HD8670M and installed Ubuntu 14.04, after
reading this bug I was convinced I had the same problem.
Booting with "nomodeset" in the boot options enabled unity to load with all
kernels.
I installed kernel 3.14.1-031401-generic _and_ fglrx and now I'm able to boot

Hello,
Please see the attached patch, it contains a fix for hv_fcopy_daemon file-copy
tool which better handles the error reporting if a file already exists on the
guest VM.
Would this be included in the final release or as a later update for 14.04?

How did you boot the installer? Normally syslinux will boot the kernel
in 16-bit mode and you would get the forcepae error message.
