Hi there, I just updated the BIOS, restarted all the system and it still
have fast audio playback through HDMI connected TV/monitor.

Looking a bit further found a tip regarding include a grub line
"i915.disable_power_well=0" to kernel.
it worked!
now the sound through hdmi is playing at right pitch.

The plan is for MAAS to enable apparmor for Lunar onwards. Older
releases were always deployed without apparmor and I think changing this
would be dangerous, as we don't know how many customers are relying on
the current behaviour.
