I went back to confirm the problem on other systems. Despite what I
wrote before, Ubuntu 22.04.3 does crash when sleeping. My first post

Also are you sure it's a kernel issue and 6.3 *still* works?
I fixed a bug in mutter this week that would have previously kept the
discrete GPU awake even when it wasn't being used. That was a bug
though.

Verified packages on Jammy and Lunar. They works as expected. I can hear
sound from headphone, Speaker, and HDMI monitor.
Lunar: alsa-ucm-conf (1.2.6.3-1ubuntu9.2)
Jammy: alsa-ucm-conf (1.2.6.3-1ubuntu1.8)
Here is the test result:

Right, I don't think we'll get this in mantic yet, I'll send it for
linux-unstable first (and then it'll get enabled by mainline builds).
