The kernel was recently updated to 5.11

Since then the ath10k_core driver for my QCA9984 card is broken and only
loads ~3 firmware versions

I'm having this issue on a new Metabox NH77HK (built by Clevo) on
Kubuntu 20.04. Elantech touchpad. I've resolved for now with psmouse
driver, but scrolling doesn't work and it doesn't disable while typing.
It's listed as 'won't fix' above. Will I need to upgrade to Hirsute when
the fix is releas

2.) Intel SW debug engineer is adding some debug prints to the I219
runtim
The fact is that: 1) the system touches the device (sr0) when the user does not
touch the device (at boot and constantly while the system is running),
2) these calls from the first paragraph cause errors.
We want to 1) fix these errors, 2) remove unnecessary calls to the sd0 device.

I still experience the problem on ubuntu 20.04 with Lenovo Slim 9
14ITL5. The kennel is: 5.11.0-25-generic, and "cat
/sys/class/dmi/id/chassis_type" give me a number: 10. blacklisting
intel_vbtn doesn't fix the problem for me.

Problem has also reproduced, with both 5.11.0-16 and 5.11.0-25, using a
downgraded nvidia stack.
Will now look at upgrading the firmware as suggested to see if that
helps.

Wanted to pop in and mention I've encountered this same issue on several
HP Spectre devices, on some of which the current workaround doesn't seem
to work (as of kernel version 5.13.10). I've put together a DKMS build
of the patched module for people to use until this can be upstreamed or
included a
[Expired for linux (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]
