On Lenovo Thinkpad T14s, X13, A475 (and probably more models) the Elantech
Trackpoint firmware is defective. The trackpoint cursor often suddenly jumps to
an edge/corner, because the hardware/firmware sometimes reports wrong
coordinates / loses sync.
Please excuse me if I picked the wrong package. This relates to the 5.11
kernel in Kubuntu 21.04.

The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
ASPM issues come with quite different symptoms. Sometimes there's just a
number of rx_missed errors and performance is significantly reduced, w/o
tx timeout. Therefore at least in mainline I'd like to keep ASPM
disabled per default. But every user or distro can use sysfs to enable
