ppa/mainline/v5.11/. Unlike 5.11-rc5 I tried before, the problem did not
show up with 5.11.

I can not reproduce this issue with bionic-update kernel and the patch
mentioned in #6 has been merged into ubuntu-bionic since 4.15.0-125.128.
I believe this issue has been fixed and am going to close this bug.
Please re-open if this issue is still bothering you with bionic-update
kernel.

Firstly, if you have 'tlp' installed then please uninstall it because it
can cause problems like this.
Secondly, you mention 'Microsoft' and 'Trust' mice in the bug
description but your logs only ever seem to show:
