That made my kdump initrd grow from 46mb to 86mb. However, it still
fails.
An additional complication here is that kdump does something with my usb
keyboard so I can't actually write anything when I get to the initramfs
prompt... So it's a bit hard to debug what's going on.

Currently I just fixed my xps 9310's wifi card by installing kernel 5.10.
My xps system firmware version was 1.1.4 and I update to 1.2.5.
If it does not update bios, system get stuck after turning wifi on and off.
I add ubuntu-kernel PPA to my laptop then install kernel package.

I added to bcmwl driver which included linux kernel 5.9 and 5.10 patches
to wireless drivers PPA. You can try to add PPA with following command.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333/kablosuz
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install bcmwl-kernel-source

searching for updated broadcom STA drivers with same filenames i.e.

upgrades.

Cannot probe sata disk on sata c
Addition to #38. 20.10, it is booting on a fresh install to black
screen. The workaround is not fixing that (alone), the solution was
install all updates. But it is kind off difficult on terminal with no
ethernet, no wifi driver + config ... I hope the next release will solve
that issue.

Hi, I loaded groovy, enabled proposed, and the new kernel works just
fine. There were other problems with this install. I let the installer
update while installing, and that failed bad. I had to tell grub to
boot the previous kernel. I let the reporting app send those details.
