Welp. My mouse has been working for a couple days now and has survived
multiple reboots, but the problem is that I don't know what I did to get
it working again. I just sat down, wiggled the mouse to wake it up out
of habit, and it worked. Could be a hardware issue on my end. Close this

Hi,
I had a Thomson X6 notebook, it's seems to be a Jumper Ebook 3 Pro
rebranded.
I compiled original kernel from kernel.org.
- With 4.14 RC7 version, movements, simple ou double tab click, 2 finger
gesture worked. But click buttons not.
- With 4.14 RC8 version, nothing works anymore ! I did so
I too am affected now. After suspend+resume, my touchpad isn't found.
Rebooting doesn't help: I really have to turn the machine off and on
again.
I can attach mouse, and then if I try to open touchpad settings in Input
Devices settings (I use Kubuntu), it says that Touchpad isn't found, and
xinput

I tested it successfully so far on my hardware (Inspiron 1525).

I thought it hang on 'scanning for btrfs', but it was actually the
resume service/method causing the delay. In my case the resume/swap
device is on a LV, could solve it by using this instruction (first

Good news - I got the chance to test this in our production environment
