I'm trying to enable IMA appraisal with signatures for executable files on
xenial with Linux 4.4. I took the following steps:
* Downloaded ubuntu-xenial kernel sources
* Run fakeroot debian/rules editconfigs to set CONFIG_SYSTEM_TRUSTED_KEYS to my
key
* Run fakeroot debian/r
This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem.
While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel)
please enter the following command in a terminal window:
apport-collect 1735977
and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

When trying to boot into 3.19.0-25, the screen either remains purple or
displays the disk unlock dialog scaled by about a factor of two and in
an inoperable state. The only thing that works is Ctrl-Alt-Del and than

I can also confirm that this issue affects my Dell XPS 13 (9343) running
17.04 with the kernel the 4.10.0-40. I upgraded from 16.04 hoping that
the bug would have been fixed. When I disable Secure Boot it works
fine.

trackpad hangs regularly, typically after a few minutes of use. dmesg

In laptop Thinkpad T450s I have an issue where the disabled touchpad
sometimes could trigger the click lock when clicking the trackpoint
P (pascal-ggl), it will help immensely if you use the computer the problem is

I have two machines, both running xubuntu. They use the same keyboard
and mouse interfaced through a kvm.
The machine upgraded from 14.10 to 16.04 works fine.
The machine with a clean 16.04 fails. xev shows no middle button, but
the wheel works fine.
Both are fully updated.

options without that and still had failures. I've just rebuilt with
