Sometimes touchpad doesn't work properly after palm is rejected. The
pointer either jumping around (described on bugzilla[1]) or doesn't move
at all (in our cases).
This problem is introduced with commit:
25a84db15b3f3a24d3ea7d2baf90693bcff34b0c (HID: multitouch: enable palm
I verified the lp1590655 test kernel and the storvsc bulk messages are no
longer showing up.

I installed Lubuntu a month ago, and I first selected BTRFS for the root
filesystem, as on my amd64 machines. It didn't work so I choose ext4 for the
root file system.

Trusty 3.13 / 14.04 is OK, but the commits are not applied in the HWE
branch for 14.04.x, which are the required target.
That was what I had in mind when requested for 14.04.x -- sorry if that
wasn't explicit enough.

I have installed Lubuntu 16.04 on another disk with pokini1. Running
kernel 4.4.0 does not produce the bug anymore. But, the Gui is still
broken, just no more kernel NULL pointer dereference error. I had to

Yesterday I got an automatic update of kernel to 4.4.0.24 - still can't
suspend properly.
My system is Lenovo Z51 with Kubuntu (16.04, of course).
