It doesn't matter whether this machine has the common old-age ailment of
dried thermal grease or not. It's part of normal ageing, so Linux needs

I own a 1byone bluetooth keyboard/touchpad combo device. I'm using

I have managed to successfully pair it (the UI did not work for this --
it never prompted me to type a PIN code in, it just silently failed).
But doing it via the console did pair it:

I have the same issue with similar kern.log entries after upgrading to
kernel 3.16.0-48. Removing that and falling back to 3.16.0-46 fixed it
for me.

I was able to get the latest kernel 3.19.0-28-generic and it seems to be
working fine. Not sure if it was the problem, but unsupport
