Dell Latitude D630 to stop booting. The boot continues to "starting
version 219" and then freezes.
Eliminating the "splash" option by editing GRUB allows the computer to

I had this problem for a long time. Then I updated the BIOS to A09 and I
never had this problem again. So I think it is a BIOS issue.

would fix this. Removing a cpu from a parent cgroup or offlining a cpu
would remove it from effective_cpus, but not from cpuset.cpus.

though this set only affects powernv, I would really prefer to cherry-

kernel modules that the kernel needed to boot the encrypted disk. The
older version of the kernel ignored my blacklist and loaded the modules.
