I have a 4-monitor set up and idling out to the lock screen seems to
black screen freeze it about 25% of the time since 14.04 update. I'm
able to restart lightdm via SSH in order to bring the screen back, but I
still have to logout in order to get full access to all 4 monitors again
after it happen

I am unable to run the apport-collect command for two reasons:
1. The bug in question renders the machine unbootable. To boot the
machine and run apport-collect, it is necessary to change either the
software or hardware configuration. This would create an environment in
which bug is not reproducib

The new BIOS doesn't make any difference. Hibernation still hangs with
the original Ubuntu kernel, and it works fine with a kernel that has
commit a1
Here is the file. This file replaces /usr/src/linux-
source-3.15.0/sound/pci/emu10k1/emumpu401.c
This is the only file that needs to be modified. Kernel build works
without errors with this file.
