The Notebook i have is a work machine and I am not allowed to load
kernels that have not been provided in an offficial update.
I am unsure of how I can assist now, however as mentioned before i did
not have this issue with the 13.10 release, it only started once I
installed 14.04.

After the last updates the wifi is a lot more stable, but the sound via
bluetooth has some issues now. Sometimes I hear short interuptions in
sound and I get a delay of 1-2 seconds. I encountered this issue with
sony speakers and logitech headphones.

I used Martin's test:
