* trusty-proposed (downloaded from launchpad directly) : linux 3.13.0-17.37
Both still have the bug.

Either I didn't see that last time I visited the Debugging page, or it
has been added recently.
Anyway, the solution in comment #25 worked for me.
So... it looks like something like this needs to get into Ubuntu by
default for this laptop. I have no idea how that would be acc

caused by the motherboard, or more likely, the video card. My M6500 has
both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13.10 on it. With the FX2800 card, black
screens on boot-up/wake-from-suspend were somewhat frequent, but

file, say "/var/lib/update-notifier/no-hwe-oel-warning", then the OEM
people can drop that flag in place on a forced update, to avoid their
users being notified of stack upgrades before they've validated the
